about events and activities at school. If you have questions that
are not answered below, please contact any of your PFC
Board Members!
MARK YOUR CALENDARS!!! JOHN GREEN’S 2010-2011 SCHOOL
YEAR WILL BEGIN ON TUESDAY, AUGUST 24TH!
TARDY STUDENTS
If your student is tardy for any reason or for any amount of time,
you must sign them in at the office. Students can not go to class
without first being signed in by their parent and receiving a late
pass. Please take the time to park and come to the office. Thank
you!
2010-2011 BREAKFAST BOOK CLUB MEETINGS WILL BE HELD ON
THE FOLLOWING DATES:
October 12, November 9th, December 14, January 11, 2011, Febrary 8, March 8, April 12 and May 10.
All meetings will be held in the Multi-Purpose Room from 7:30am
until 8:30am!

LOST AND FOUND
If your student has misplaced something, please take the time to
check out our lost and found tubs that are located in the Multi-Purpose
Room.
DO YOU NEED TO EXCHANGE YOUR NEWLY RECEIVED SPIRIT WEAR?
If your spirit wear does not fit, we will gladly exchange it for
you. Please fill out a Spirit
Wear Issue Resolution Form and return it, along with the item
you would like to exchange, to the Spirit Wear box which is located
under the table just outside the office doors.

WOULD YOU LIKE TO VIEW YOUR CHILD'S LUNCH MONEY ACCOUNT
BALANCE OR ADD MONEY TO THEIR LUNCH CARD? Click here

to create an account and view activity. Please note: if you would
like to add money to your student’s lunch card online –
there will be a small fee imposed by myschoolbucks.com (this is
not a fee charged by John Green Elementary). You may always make
a deposit to your student’s lunch card by dropping off a check
or cash (nothing larger than a $20.00 bill, please) in an envelope,
complete with student name, grade and class to the front office.

The PFC could use some fresh new faces to help make decisions for
our students and school! We would love to see you at our monthly board meetings! Remember
– it takes lots of great parents to help make a difference. If you have questions, please contact

INTERESTED IN VOLUNTEERING AT OR CHAIRING AN EVENT AT JOHN
GREEN?
Each year the PFC sponsors many events and programs that require
lots of parent participation! If you are interested in running an
event or just working for an hour or two – we can use you!

of Volunteers.

PLANNING ON WORKING IN THE CLASSROOM OR BEING ACTIVE ON-CAMPUS?
Each year, parents are required to fill out a VOLUNTEER/DRIVER AUTHORIZATION
FORM and VOLUNTEER SCREENING FORM. Once you have filled them out, please
return them to the office, along with a copy of your driver’s
license.

EMAILING JOHN GREEN TEACHERS & STAFF
Are you attempting to reach someone at John Green via email? It's
a great communication tool, however, please be aware the Dublin
School District has VERY strict email filters in place. Many of
our email addresses will be blocked by these filters - however,
the District has a solution. Be sure to type the word DPRIDE in
the front of your Subject line - this is the magic password for
your email to bypass the filters. Best practice...always type in
the word DPRIDE in your Subject line when sending an email to John
Green teachers and staff.
